If you haven't noticed throughout the website we are going to be carrying out some renovation & refurbishment works to Fonclaire in the Autumn of 2020. We are taking great care to make sure as much as possible can be done during the winter months to minimise any disruption to our guests, however there will be some works which will be carried out during the course of 2020-2021.
We want to keep you upto date with our plans so you any visits you make to us are not met with unknown circumstances.
We hope you can appreciate the works are being carried out to benefit our guests, and ask you bare with us whilst these works are completed.
We are pleased to confirm the renovations of our Summer Orchard Gite & Fishermans Gite are now complete, we are hope you like the results.
Our new 6m playground is installed and open for our guests to use. It including 2 swings, a slid, a sand pit and bridge amongst other fun activities .
We are currently going through a planning application to extend the existing owners accommodation to take it from 1 to 2 properties for us all to live in. The works we expect to start in the Autumn 2020. The works are being carried out to the north of the site behind the main house and away from the pitches and gites
We have recently finished the renovation of our summer kitchen which offers BBQ cooking and dining for upto 10 people. We love that we can offer groups of guests undercover entertaining whilst enjoy the view of the lake.
We have an above ground pool for all our guests to use.
In December 2019 we started constructing a new in ground heated pool which was due to be completed in May 2020, however due to Covid-19 this has been delayed. The new pool in now due for completion in August 2020.
Until the new pool is finished and open, the existing above ground pool is open for our guests to use.
The site currently has wifi within close proximity of the main house. We have extended the wifi to all the gites and to the terrance area. We hoping to extend this as far as we can across the site in the future.
Next to the swimming pool we have a selection of tables and chairs for our guests, whether you want to play a board game or relax in the evening with a glass of wine and guess the sounds of the local wildlife.
Please be assured we will make every effort to reduce the disruption these works will have to our guests. The location of the works are away for our guests, and we will, whenever possible schedule the works to be completed during our quietest seasons.
